Guided Tour of the Falls – U$20pp +U$30 park fee
Visiting this spectacular waterfall can certainly be done on your own but it is nice to have a knowledgeable and experienced local guide to accompany you and share stories & information you wont find on the information boards.
Lunar Rainbow – 1 hours – U$60
Moonbows are formed by the light of the full moon so this activity can only be done at Full Moon. It is an unguided tour but you are chaperoned to keep you safe and included pick and drop off from your hotel.
Gorge Hike – 4 hours – U$85 + U$10 Park fee
The Hike begins about 20km away from the waterfalls downstream of the Victoria Falls. You will hike the steep down to the Zambezi River for a hike and then a refreshing swim before the strenuous climb our of the gorge. Once you reach the top its a short walk to an Ndebele Village where you will meet the local headsmen and villagers and have brunch in the Village while listening to stories about their traditional culture and customs.
Helicopter – U$160 – U$284 + U$15 park fee
A spectacular birds eye view of the whole Victoria Falls area, choose between a 12/13 minute flight over the falls or a 25 minute flight over the falls, gorges and rural land. Aptly named the Flight of Angels after David Livingstone described it as “scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”.
Livingstone Island and Devils Swim – U$110 – U$175 pp
This activity is done on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. It is an exciting and exhilarating experience swimming on the edge of the waterfall. Five trips are offered throughout the day, each trip lasting about 1.5 to 2 hrs. Morning Breezer – 07h30 | 09h00 | 10h30 | Lunch Tour – 12h30 | High Tea – 15h30.
Note that these openings are very dependent on the water level of the Zambezi River so always check which pools are open. Generally the Livingstone island tour operates from approx June til March. Closed April, May and June. The Devils swim section is only open in the middle of August till the end of December. The Angel’s Pool is open in July, and then January till March.
Classic River Safari – 3 hours – U$65 + U$10 parks fees.
This is a very popular and more adventurous Sunset Cruise. With the boats flat bottom it is able to meander through the shallower waters where other big boats cant go so its more private and you get closer to the falls.
White Water Rafting – 6 hours – U$120
If you are looking for an action packed day of adrenaline, this is grade 5 river is regarded as the best one-day rafting trip in the world. The best time of year to raft is during Low Water season when the trip covers rapids no. 1 to no.19 and the rapids are at their best!
Bungee Jumping – 2 hours – U$160
Want to get your adrenaline fix in hurry? This incredible and exhilarating 111 meter jump off the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge is described as one the most spectacular bungee jumps in the world.
Gorge Swing – 2 hrs – U$95 solo/U$137 tandem (+U$3 park fee)
Jump off the edge of the gorge harnessed in a seated position and free falling approx 70m before the rope becomes tight swinging you in a long pendulum arc over the Zambezi River.
Zipline – 2 hours – US$69 (solo) | US$ 111 (tandem) +U$3 park fee)
As the river zigzags down the Batoka Gorges, the cable is suspended across from one side to the other. For this product you are harnessed and attached to a pulley, then launched over the edge picking up speed as you descend over the water and reaching a speed of 106 km an hour.
Flying Fox – 1 hour – U$42pp (+U$3 park fee)
This is the longest Zip Line (Foofie Slide) ride in the world. Imagine the Adrenalin rush traveling a speed of 106 km’s hurtling 425 m across the gorge, while suspended 120 m above the breath taking beauty of the Zambezi water below!

The Victoria Falls Canopy Tour offers a network of slides, trails and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges. This experience is suitable for adventure seekers of all ages including families and groups. Sunset & Dinner Cruise – 4 hours – U$75 + U$10 parks fee
A few operator’s offer this cruise, going out on the boat for sunset and staying out for dinner, when most cruises return to the jetty. It is a beautiful time of day and spectacular experience to be dining on the water after dark, as the stars dot the African sky. We offer a choice of three different boat sizes and experiences depending on budget.
Standard Sunset Cruise – 3 hours U$40 + U$10 per person
The standard sunset cruises are an affordable option and offer an opportunity to get out onto the magnificent river with other passengers on a selection of pontoons. Such a beautiful way to spend the late afternoon/evening, with the added bonus that you will see wildlife along your cruise. Elephant, hippo, crocodile and a variety of other game and birds on the mainland and islands. The cruises all include drinks and snacks and are family friendly, a lovely experience for children. The cruises last for approximately 2 hours and a transfer (included in the price) will collect and drop you at your hotel.

The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show, located at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, is a legendary dining and entertainment experience that offers an unforgettable fusion of mouth-watering local cuisine, energetic dance performances, interactive drumming and traditional storytelling.

Dusty Road – 2 hours –
Dusty Road is a traditional Zimbabwean restaurant situated in the bustling heart of Chinotimba, the largest and oldest township in Victoria Falls, just 2km from the centre of town and next to the 24-hour clinic.
The food is cooked the Zimbabwean way, on open fires and in cast iron pots and ovens, giving you an authentic, wholesome and tasty food experience.

Historical Bridge Tour
Journey through over 100 years in time, as your guides share the history of this remarkable structure, from it’s design and initial prefabrication in England, to its construction in Africa. Walk the catwalks below the bridge, an area that is normally closed to the public, and enjoy unique views of the Falls, the Zambezi river and the Batoka Gorge. You might even see someone bungee jump from the platform above you!
High Tea at Vic Falls Hotel – 2 hours – U$25pp
Victoria Falls Hotel high tea is served daily between 15:00 – 18:00. Bookings are not required, although it is probably best to check availability beforehand. At a price of US$30, a couple can enjoy a range of mouth-watering treats, served on an array of silverware, bone china, and vintage cutlery & crockery. Relax and enjoy the exceptional service from the friendly hotel staff and magnificent view of the Victoria Falls bridge across to Zambia.
Victoria Falls Safari Activities
Chobe Day Trip – 10 hours – U$170
A full-day tour from Victoria falls takes you on a boat trip on the Chobe River and a game drive in Chobe National Park. The park is well known for its elephant and lion populations. Transfer from Victoria Falls is included, as is lunch at the Cresta Mowana Lodge.
Zambezi Game Drive – 3/10 hours – U$70/U$140 + U$15 park fee
A game drive through the Zambezi National park, upstream from the Victoria Falls on the River. A park home to lots of game including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, kudu, zebra and hippo. You may also encounter eland, sable and other game – with possible sightings of lion and leopard, if you’re lucky! The bird-life is fantastic and you can stop along the river for drinks and sightings of river views. The Ilala Palms and baobabs are dotted all along your drive. The drive is an hour and takes place in the mornings and afternoons with snacks and drinks suited to the time of day. A great activity to do and because Vic Falls is a town in a national park, it’s just down the road from most hotels and accommodation.
Zambezi Walking Safari – 3/10 hours – U$70/$140 + U$15 park fee
A professionally guided walk through the national park. A wonderful opportunity to get to know the natural flora and fauna guided, on foot, among the wildlife living there.
Siduli Hide – 3 hours – U$60
A completely unobtrusive, authentic way to view animals up close and personally. The hide is built like a termite mound, with a viewing window looking out towards the waterhole at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Guests are safely hidden inside, watching the animals coming down for a drink. The wildlife walk a few feet from the hide, enabling close observation of elephant, kudu, buffalo, impala, baboon, crocodiles, warthog, marabou storks, vultures and more. A special experience where the animals can be viewed completely unaware of human presence.
Night Drive & Bush Dinner – 5 hours – U$137
A night drive is a thrilling experience, with all the smells and sights of the wild night life. This is an opportunity to see nocturnal animals in their natural environment, including large predators like lion and hyena. You will enjoy a 3-course barbecue dinner and drinks around a campfire before returning to your hotel. Transfers to and from your hotel are included.
Rhino Game Drive – 4 hours – U$100
Through the Mosi-oa-Tunya Park, in Livingstone, Zambia, this drive takes you along approximately 12 km of riverbanks of the upper Zambezi. The park is home to a small protected rhino population, with this being the highlight. Other game that inhabit the national park are: Buffalo, hippo, zebra, giraffe, crocodile and antelope. There are also elephant in the park, who visit, swimming, from across the river. The Victoria Falls is within the park, on the Zambian side. Trips run (from Livingstone) in the morning and the afternoon, with the drive lasting 3 hours.
Elephant Encounter – 3 hours – U$100

Horse Riding – 3/5 hours – U$85/U$125 + U$15 park fee
Seeing wildlife from horseback is a MUST DO. As a rider there is no better way to see animals close-up. The animals treat you more like one of them, allowing you to get really close and they are comfortable with the horses resident to the area. There are beautiful stretches of ground in which to have a canter and the ability to slowly pass by flora and fauna with a close eye on things. To stop and observe, meander past impala or warthog grazing, or canter along the river’s edge. It’s a special way to game view – often up pretty close to elephant, buffalo and take in the scenery like no other.
Birding Safari – 3 hours – U$75 + U$15 parks fee
With 415 species of bird resident to Victoria falls and the surrounding region, it is well worth a birding safari for serious twitchers and bird enthusiasts alike. The most popular time to go is the early morning trip and tea and coffee and other refreshments are provided. You will be driven through the national park and be on foot exploring a number of different habitats in and around Victoria Falls. It is a half day safari, lasting 4 hours.
Fishing Safari – 3 hours – U$108 + U$10 park fee
Suited for people of all experience levels, Zambezi river fishing safaris are run by a number of different operators from 3-hour trips to full days and even multiple day trips. There are over 75 fish species found in the River – Barbel, Upper Zambezi Yellowfish, Bream and Tilapia being a few. The renowned African fighting fish – the Tiger fish – is the most sought-after. If you love fishing or want to try something new with the ability to be on the river for the day.
