Some new and exciting activities have come to town!

Below are some great new activities we wanted to highlight.

Let’s begin by celebrating The River Brewing Company in Victoria Falls and their new River Brewing Tour.

There is nothing we love more than supporting local produce and people, sustainable practices, and a good story! The River Brewing Co has been on our minds a lot lately with the re-introduction of the oh-so-popular River Brewery Tours and their busy social calendar.

Dive right into the mysterious and ultra-cool world of micro-brewing with an informative guide and practiced home brewer. Go on in and taste up a storm.  The brewers use all local ingredients to craft their own beers and sodas, with non-alcoholic and low sugar alternatives too.  One of their brews is named after an endangered animal that is highly protected in Zimbabwe, The Painted Dog Ale, and another brew after a really cool local band the Flying Bantu Red Ale.

This is a really enjoyable way to spend some time in Victoria Falls.  Watch this space for more from our very own local Brewery!  Have a look at some photos on our Facebook Page.

Take a ride on the Bamba Tram

A very popular new addition to Victoria Falls is the fun & funky little Bamba Tram! This is a wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon in Victoria Falls.

You can enjoy 3 types of trips on the Bamba Tram:

  • The first trip is the Bamba Tram Bridge Run – which involves a short bush ride and then onto the Iconic Victoria Falls Bridge where you can hop off and do a tour of the Bridge Museum followed by a light snack and refreshments on the Bridge.
  • The second trip is a Bamba Tram Safari Run – this trip takes you into the National Park where you can hop off at a railway siding and enjoy a light snack and drinks while watching the sunset over the Bushveld.
  • The third trip is the Bamba Tram Safari Run & Bush Dinner – this includes a ride into the National Park, sundowners and a 3-course Dinner under the stars at the Jafuta Siding.

NEW! Interactive Cooking Experience

Enjoy making your very own Potjie Pot with the guidance of a Pure Africa Chef in an interactive cooking experience on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Immerse yourself in a traditional cooking activity done authentically on open fires and in cast iron pots giving you a wholesome and tasty food experience.

This is a fun thing to do with a group if you are a group of 6 people or more but if you are not with a group it can be done in combination with a River Cruise, once your pot is spiced and ready to be on the fire you hop on a river cruise and drift down the Zambezi with a beverage enjoying the scenery and get back on land just in time to enjoy your delicious self made Potjie Pot.
